About the National Youth Press

Founded in 2024, The National Youth Press is a bipartisan digital publication for students across the country to share editorials on hyper-local issues. Entirely student run (with the exception of award programs), the website is continuously accepting submissions.

The Press operates on the following principles:

  1. Free Expression: We uphold the freedom of writers to express their unique viewpoints, encouraging bold, unfiltered, and authentic storytelling.
  2. Preserving Voice: Contributors maintain their personal voice and style, and editing is done lightly for concision and clarity.
  3. Mentorship Without Interference: Mentors guide students through the editorial process without compromising the writer’s original vision or intent.
  4. Commitment to Integrity: Every contributor is expected to uphold journalistic ethics, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and accountability in their work.

The Press is made possible through the support of Blue Future.
